LEEK

Dried leeks are the dried product made from fresh leeks and obtained as a result of the drying process. Fresh leeks contain about 90-92% water before drying. The water content in the fresh product dried by drying is reduced to very low values. As a result of drying, 1 kg of dry leeks is obtained using about 12 kg of leeks. During drying, the water in the product evaporates and the core of the product remains. Because of this, the nutritional values of dried leeks, especially carbohydrates, vitamins, protein, fat, have increased significantly.
